Vanessa Wilson

Our memories and experiences create layers and visually I am trying to explore that, by obscuring, molding or obliterating parts of one image with another or with the inclusion of an image just slightly at odds with its environment. My interest lies much more in evoking a feeling rather than representing an actual place, but I am conscious of living here in Andalusia, its earthiness and the freedom and losses that come with not being from a place.
