New edition of Art Gauc\u00edn.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

May 29, 30 and 31 and June 5, 6 and 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Art Gauc\u00edn has some new developments. Although we have lost a few members, we have two new additions to the collective: Bel\u00e9n Montero, textile art, and Adrian Barclay, painting and printmaking. We welcome them and wish them all the best in this new venture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As has been the case in recent years, the \u2018El Convento\u2019 Cultural Centre will host a group exhibition featuring all the artists from Art Gauc\u00edn and this year\u2019s two guest artists: Roderic Stokes and Jose Mar\u00eda D\u00edez. On the upper floors of the Convento, we will be able to enjoy the work of our guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, installation\u2026 await you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Museum of Contemporary Spanish Realism (MUREC, Almeria) presents the exhibition \u2018Almeria. La tierra ausente\u2019 by the painter J. S\u00e1nchez Zabaleta, in which he expresses the sensitive and spiritual experience that the province produces in him and how it has inspired him to create his series “El olvido que nos habita” , from which 18 works dating from the last five years have been selected for the occasion.
