Sara Webb

Sara Webb is a prize-winning journalist who has lived abroad for much of her life – in Sweden, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, and most recently in the Netherlands. She has written about politics, business and general news, covering elections, corruption scandals, earthquakes and bomb attacks in the course of her career.

When she lived in Singapore, she learned various printing techniques including etching, woodcut, and lithography at Singapore Tyler Print Institute. She also uses inks, water colour and oil paints. Most of her work is inspired by the landscape – whether the harsh dry terrain of the Australian bush, the lushness of tropical Singapore and Indonesia, or the mountains of Spain and Morocco.
