Raffaela Zenoni

Biography

Contact

Raffaela Zenoni’s works pulsate between abstracting statement and concrete form, between figural intensity and explosive color portrayal. The diversity of perspectives created thereby facilitates the viewer’s delving into an increasingly active dialogue with this mystical world of art: “In each painting, we discover a comprehensive palette of emotions. Each viewer sees in a work what he or she allows themselves to see,” the artist states.
The compositions have been generously laid out, their expressively characteristic style allotting no room for apathy or indifference. They challenge viewers to engage with the boundless energy of the paintings that, because of their associative and emblematic symbolism, enable, or even provoke, them to mind games.
Born and raised in Altdorf (Uri), Raffaela Zenoni initially studied education and didactics before joining the Consular Services of the Swiss Foreign Ministry.

Her work takes her throughout Europe’s cosmopolitan cities. Alongside this, she began practicing classical and abstract painting. During her studies, which she completed by graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in Bern, she came to develop her own personal painting style. Herein, she implements the experiences she has gathered and matured, transferring these into her individual form of expression.
Her works are exhibited in numerous cities in countries that include Germany, Luxemburg, Switzerland, and others.

Works by Raffaela Zenoni may be found in collections in Belgium, Germany, France, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Singapore, and the USA. Raffaela Zenoni lives and works in Gaucín, Spain and Zagreb,Croatia.
