Born in Malaga, I started photography as a teenager with an old Voigtländer 6×6 camera, a gift from my grandfather, which I learned the the basics in a self-taught way.
Later, at the School of Applied Arts and Crafts of Zaragoza, I studied photography for three years, composition and design.
At the beginning of the 80s, in Madrid, I actively participated in the creation of the DEZINE magazine, a reference point of the “movida madrileña” where I worked as a photographer, layout designer…
Nowadays I live in Gaucín where since 1995 I have had a business of Andalusian handicrafts and antiques, nowadays closed.
I have always had a camera close to me, using it as a means of expression, leisure and professionally although continuously fascinated by street and social photography.
Once established in Gaucín and now with my own studio I have been able to projects where lighting plays a major role in photos of models, portraits and still lifes.
Nowadays I combine photography with
painting.
