Born in Ekeren (Belgium) in 1994, studies art (Illustration) at St. Luc Superior Art School in Brussels, married with two children and five grand-children. She publishes a childrens’ book in 1979 “Les Mangeurs de Ciel” (Duculot) – “De Hemeleters ” (Heuff) with author Daniel Fano. She lives successively in Paris, Geneva, Munich, London, Brussels and Gaucin.
She learns ceramics in 1988 and starts her own studio in Genval in 1998 where she also teaches ceramics. She creates the “Poules de Catherine Hunter” in 2000 and sells tens of thousands of them all over the world.
She embarks on sailing from France to Australia with her husband from 2004 to 2007. En route, she works with local potters and ceramists, whenever she has the opportunity.
Upon her return in 2008, she opens a studio and a gallery in the heart of Brussels, between Grand Place and Sablon, where she works and exhibits her work.

Major commission :
In 2017, St-Joris, the industrial laundry service company based in Jeuk, commissions her 6 ceramic and bronze artworks, including a 10 meter high wall, to decorate their new head office. She works six months on this commission.
