Ira Goldberg has been involved with the arts for over 50 years. Starting out as a photographer, he went on to enroll at the Art Students League of New York in 1979 to study drawing and painting. His paintings are in many private collections and he has been the recipient of a number of awards.
In 2001, Ira was named Director of the Art Students League, a position he served in until his retirement in January 2017 at which time he moved to Gaucin with his wife Silvia.
