Jennifer Waterhouse was born in the North of England and studied painting , first at Leeds Art College, and then at the Royal College of Art in London.
She taught painting at Rochdale College of Art , and then at Sir John Cass College , and a boys’ secondary school , both in London.
She has exhibited her paintings in London, Málaga, Estepona , Guadiaro and Gibraltar , but now mostly exhibits with the artists’ group Art Gaucin.
She has now lived in Spain for over 40 years , first in Madrid and Málaga, and since 2000 in Gaucin. Her work is mostly based on subjects in and around Gaucin and she often paints en plein air , but also has a studio in Gaucin.
